Liverpool FC International Academy NJ will be expanding to the Jersey Shore region and will have tryouts for Full Time Academy teams. Due to the successful first year in South Jersey,  we will look to offer players the opportunity to be part of our academy in the Jersey Shore Region and we will launch on Saturday, Feb. 17 at The Moco Sports Center in Oakhurst, NJ. (Details can be found here - http://www.liverpoolfcamerica-nj.com/lfc-shore-launch) This expansion will allow local soccer enthusiasts the opportunity to “Learn and Play the Liverpool Way.”

“The club launch is a very special way that we announce a new member of the Liverpool FC International Academy America,” Nancy Lane, the Liverpool FC director of communications, said. “Liverpool FC International Academy America is the official U.S. partner of the Liverpool FC International Academy in England.”

According to Lane, this partnering youth club was initially born from three teams, two coaches, and one vision to be “the best youth soccer club in America.” Since it originated in Texas in 2006, the club now has eight affiliated clubs in New Jersey, Michigan, Florida, California, Maryland, and Missouri.

Tryouts for the club will take place in March, April, and/or May depending on the age of the player. Training with the teams will commence in June or July. Tryout information can be found at http://www.liverpoolfcamerica-nj.com.

“We are delighted to launch the LFC International Academy Shore Region,”Barry Lynch (Owner and Academy Director of LFC IA in New Jersey), said in a press release. “Week-in and week-out, we are delivering coaching programs to young players across America. This latest announcement means that New Jersey is now part of this fantastic initiative.”

“The Shore region is growing in stature with more and more kids wanting to play the 'beautiful game',” Lynch said.

In further developing his model, Lynch plans to host an LFC IA Residential Camp in the summer of 2018 in a central location and bring all teams together to participate in a stay-away camp where players will literally eat sleep and play like an academy player in an academy experience. At this camp, which will be open to players from across the state, coaches from Liverpool will travel to New Jersey to deliver a week-long program that will include skill challenges, Video Analysis, and coaching sessions. Online registration for the camp will begin in February 2018 and can be found at www.liverpoolfcamerica-nj.com
